ARCHITECT

Architect Franc D’Ambrosio of the award-winning firm D’Ambrosio architecture + urbanism is known for creating projects that combine meaning with pleasing aesthetics. Since 1991, D’Ambrosio has been a vital part of Greater Victoria’s design landscape. The firm is the winner of the 2006 SGBC - “The Smarty Award Smart” Growth C Project Award; the 2006 National Urban Design Awards for Urban Architecture; and the 2006 IDI Award of Excellence from the Interior Design Institute of BC for Single Residential — New Construction. The firm was also awarded the 2005 Canadian Urban Institute’s Brownie Award for Adaptive Reuse Through Quality Design.

INTERIOR DESIGNER

Richmond Gate interiors are designed by Nina Zak of Nina Zak Design Consultant in collaboration with Architect Franc D’Ambrosio. Together, this talented team works from inside-out and outside-in so that interiors and exteriors complement each other as a unified whole for a more enriching living environment. Nina was trained in architecture and fine arts. She has worked as an interior designer in all aspects of building design. She has used her interior design talents in Victoria and internationally in Austria, England, Germany, Poland and the United States for more than 25 years.

Bev Windjack, MBCSLA, CSLA, ASLA, and her award-winning Victoria-based firm LADR are known throughout Victoria for landscape designs that truly highlight the natural features of properties, while creating comfortable outdoor sanctuaries for urban dwellers. LADR has worked with some of Victoria’s most notable architects and builders to create outdoor living environments that people want to experience.
